Dale Resources brings innovation and technology to developing and producing natural gas from unconventional shale fields. Founded in 1981, Dale is a privately held exploration and production company who along with its affiliates has interests in the Barnett Shale, Appalachia and West Texas.

As the leader in urban development in the Barnett Shale, Dale was the first to use a new completion technology, called a Simo-frac, where two well are completed concurrently. The production from those two wells – the Gateway 2 and 3 - places them in the top 1% of producing wells in the Barnett.
